HISTORY

The Company is a Czech traditional well established technical textiles manufacturer. It was founded in 19th century by the Bartoň family, ancestors of current owner.

After the nationalization in 1950´s , the Company was returned to hands of successors of original founders in 1992, when the modern stage of Company´s development has started.

•1860  – Foundation of the Company

- 1867 – textile manufacturing business was established by the Bartoň family

- 1885 – weaving plant and later dye house were built

- 1905-1906 – a modern cotton spinning mill was built

•until 1990´s – Nationalization period

- the Company was nationalized after WW2

- until late 1980´s it was part of the state owned national enterprise Tepna Náchod

•since 1992 – Restitution and further development

- the Company was returned to the Bartoň family

- significant investments were made to modernize factory and production machinery

- 2005 – the son of current majority owner has taken over running the business

- 2010 -the Company was successfully restructured to increase quality and efficiency and focus on core business
